Wacom DTU-2231 Tablet Driver 6.3.42-1 for macOS

Support for Mac models with the M1 chip and other useful updates:

- Added support for Apple's new M1 chip.
- Removed the requirement for a computer restart after the driver is installed.
- Created an easy way for customers to access, download, and print Wacom's End-User License Agreement. (Link at the top of the this Release Notes page.)
- Added guidance for entering the required macOS permissions when installing the driver.
- Improved our logging system to keep the log size below certain limits.
- Added a 7500K color temperature option for the Wacom One. (To enable the new color temperature option, update both the Wacom driver and the Wacom One firmware from the Wacom Desktop Center's Update screen.)
- Please note: this driver does not support Intuos 4 (PTK-440, PTK-640, PTK-840, PTK-540WL).

Resolved Issues:

- DTK-1300 DTK-1301 DTH-1300 DTH-A1300 DTH-W1310: Customers will no longer receive a "Legacy System Extension" warning message when using the Cintiq. (If you are experiencing issues opening your Wacom Display Settings software with an applicable Cintiq tablet, please contact Wacom Customer Support.)
- All models: Tip Up Assist no longer causes unexpected pressure at the end of pen strokes.
- All models: A four-finger-swipe-up touch gesture now correctly closes Mission Control. A four-finger-swipe-down touch gesture now correctly opens App Expose and performing the gesture again correctly closes it.
- All models: A four-finger-spread touch gesture now correctly shows the desktop.

Known Issues:

- DTH-1620: After enabling and then disabling Tablet mode on a Cintiq Pro 16 and restarting the computer, touch functionality stops working. What you can do about it while we fix it: Restarting the computer a second time resolves the issue.
- All models: Straight line segments are present at the start of a stroke in some applications. What you can do about it while we fix it: We are working with the application developers to solve the problem. If you experience this problem, check for application updates.
- All models: You cannot use your Wacom device on your computer's login screen. macOS security restrictions prevent your Wacom device and pen from being used on the computer's login screen. To navigate, you can use your trackpad or mouse. Or, select your user name using the keyboard's right/left arrow keys and then press Enter.

This package contains the files needed for installing the Tablet driver. If it has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix problems, add new functions, or expand existing ones. Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified.

To install this package please do the following:

- Download the driver by saving the file to any easily accessible folder.
- Double click "Wacom Tablet.dmg"
- Click Install Tablet.pkg in the automatically opened folder.
- Follow the Installation Wizard steps.
- Reboot computer
