Wacom Cintiq Companion 2 Tablet Driver 6.4.2-4 for macOS

What's new:

- Helpful educational videos added to Wacom Center for specific devices.
- Tooltips added to a variety of features in Wacom Center.
- Refinements to palm rejection when the pen is in proximity to the Wacom device.

Resolved Issues:

- All Devices: The Tablet Driver Privacy Notice in non-English languages will now open correctly in Wacom Center.
- Pen Displays (Cintiq Pro 27): We made changes to support firmware updates for the Cintiq Pro 27.
- All Devices: We improved the security of the macOS driver installation.
- Pen Displays: Wacom Display Settings will now recognize your Wacom device when using a Mac with an M2 Pro or M2 Max chip.
- Pen Tablets (CTL-4100WL): The correct device image will now display in Wacom Center when you connect the Wacom Intuos to your computer using Bluetooth.
- All Devices: The cursor will no longer stop moving when changing windows in certain applications.
- Pen Displays: After logging in, you will immediately be able to work on your Wacom device; a spinning color wheel will no longer cause a delay.

Known Issues:

- All Devices: If two versions of the same application with the same executable name (e.g. Photoshop.exe) are installed on your Mac, you will not be able to create unique application-specific settings for each version of the application. What you can do about it while we fix it: If you deleted the previous version of the application on installation and you want to create application-specific settings unique to the newer version: Open Wacom Center, select the Settings icon and click Reset all settings. Then create the new application-specific settings. (Note that you cannot restore your application-specific settings using a backup file). If you kept both versions of the application on your computer, there is no workaround.
- Pen tablets (PTH-460, PTH-660, PTH-860): An intermittent issue with the pen not working properly after a driver restart has been fixed in some scenarios, but remains in others. We are working to fix this issue.
- All Devices: In a PDF, when your pen tip hovers over the "Move to" dialogue box, a buzzing noise can be heard. What you can do about it while we fix it: Instead of using your pen, use either the tablet's touch input, or a different pointing device. If the pen is used by mistake, pressing "Esc" will close the dialogue window and the pen will work as expected.
- Pen Tablet (CTL-4100WL): Wacom Intuos S BT (2018) is not mapping to an iPad using the sidecar display feature on macOS M1. What you can do about it while we fix it: Place your iPad on the right side of your primary display.
- All Devices: Right after a driver installation, the pen will intermittently not perform a “click” when you tap it to your Wacom device. What you can do about it while we fix it: Restart your computer.
- All Devices: Mission Control shortcuts (Control + Up Arrow, for example) are not working when assigned to tablet buttons such as ExpressKeys. What you can do about it while we fix it: Go to System Preferences > Mission Control and change the Mission Control shortcut to F12 (for example) and then assign F12 to an ExpressKey.
- All Devices: Using the pen tip to click in Telestream ScreenFlow, Apple Photo, Unity (2019, 2021), or JetBrains Rider (2020) drags instead of performing the intended click. What you can do about it while we fix it: Uninstall the current driver then install homepage. (Note: the 6.3.42 driver does not support macOS 13 Ventura.)
- Cintiq Pro (DTH-1620): After enabling and then disabling Tablet mode on a Cintiq Pro 16 and restarting the computer, touch functionality stops working. What you can do about it while we fix it: Restarting the computer a second time resolves the issue.
