Stealth Cam STC-PX22 Camera Firmware 977.002

This firmware version does the following:

- Improves power management.

- Improves camera stability.

Firmware Update:

Note: It is recommended to perform the firmware update using new batteries. Loss of battery power during the firmware update may cause the camera to be non-operational.

1. Download the PX22 (v977.002).zip file.

2. Unzip the file.

3. Go into the folder and copy the .ISP file to the root directory of a SD Card.

4. Remove power from camera by removing a battery from one of the battery components.

5. Place camera into CUSTOM mode.

6. Insert SD Card.

7. Hold the ENTER button and reinsert battery that was removed in Step 4.

8. Screen will display "-TEST-". Release the ENTER button.

9. Use the up arrow to navigate to "TEST". Press ENTER.

10. Use the up arrow to navigate to "UPGRADE". Press ENTER.

11. The unit will enter upgrade mode and should display " ,,

12. It takes about 2-3 minutes to upgrade.

13. After the upgrade, the unit will restart itself; remove power from the unit again.

14. Replace battery and place camera into CUSTOM mode.

15. Go into the Menu and select RESET, then YES to complete the upgrade.

About Camera Firmware:

Updating to a newer firmware version than the one already installed on your camera can improve the device’s overall performance and stability, resolve various issues, and add support for newly developed features or enhance existing ones.

On the other hand, downgrading the camera’s firmware can recover its functionality in the unlikely event the currently installed version is faulty or the device’s performance dropped after an upgrade. However, bear in mind that applying an earlier build might not always be possible.
