Atomos Ninja V Recorder Firmware 10.57

Enhancements:

- Full metadata in .mov file for support of ISO and White Balance adjustments in Final Cut Pro X (version 10.4.9 onwards, released by Apple September 2020).

Fixes:

- Fixed an issue in AtomOS v10.56 (released 3rd December 2020) where this enhancement was seeded but not functioning correctly when recorded clips were played back in Final Cut Pro X. Certain clips would display a reddish or bluish image. The original image recorded was unaffected.

Firmware Update Tutorial:

- Download and unzip the file.
- Copy the file onto a recommended, formatted driver, using the docking station included with your recorder.
- Insert the drive into the Atomos recorder while it’s off.
- Power up the Atomos recorder.
- The screen will show flashing lines of color. This is normal - DO NOT power off!
- Updating will take a few minutes.
- Once completed, the Atomos recorder will power down.
- Power up the Atomos recorder again.
- Check Menu > Product Info > AtomOS Version. This should match the version you have just downloaded.
- Enjoy your updated Atomos recorder !

Firmware Recovery Tutorial:

- Power down the Atomos recorder (Hold power button for 4 seconds).
- Hold down the power button for 10 seconds approximately.
- You will see the “Firmware Update Failed” screen.
- Insert your HDD / SSD.
- The install process will begin and the screen will show flashing lines of color. This is normal - DO NOT power off !
- Once completed, the Atomos recorder will power down.
- Enjoy your updated Atomos recorder !
